Fuel & EV Charging
There are no fuel stations in Carnarvon Gorge, please be aware of this and make sure you fill up at your last town stop prior to arriving for your stay.
Due to our remote location in central Queensland, we unfortunately do not have the infrastructure or power capacity required to support EV charging on site. Our current power supply is limited and designed to service essential lodge operations and guest accommodation only.
If you are planning to travel through the region with an electric vehicle, we strongly recommend undertaking your own due diligence prior to your journey. This includes contacting local tourism information centres in the towns along your route to confirm the availability and operational status of any EV charging stations, as facilities in remote areas can be limited and may not always be functional.

Guests can refresh and relax in our beautiful pool after the days’ activities.
Relax in the A Frame
Our lodge is more than just a place to stay. Guests are invited to take some time out in The AFrame, read a book, sit by the fire while mingling with guests. Its a beautiful setting in the Wilderness.
Dining
The Wilderness Restaurant & Cafe is open (opening hours under read more). Takeaway coffee, sandwiches and pastries are available for purchase.
Two fully equipped outdoor BBQ kitchens with microwave, toaster, kettle, gas burners, fridges, freezers, crockery, and cutlery, all provided for guests to self-cater.
Meat, long life milk, butter, bread, water, soft drinks, ice cream, bottled beer, and wine available for purchase from reception.
Outdoor Kitchens
We provide dedicated alfresco dining areas that are available on the grounds for guests wishing to self-cater. These undercover areas are provided with BBQ’s, microwave ovens, fridges and freezers for food storage, washing up and cooking utensils and equipment supplied.
